Beautiful fulgurite cabochon from Torre de Moncorvo Portugal, artfully tension set in solid 14 karat yellow gold pendant. I hand forge each lovely piece myself with its own unique intricate design.

FULGURITE TORRE DE MONCORVO, PORTUGAL 24/05/1998, between the villages of Cabanas de Baixo and Foz do Sabor, North Portugal This fulgurite was formed by lightning striking a small electricity pylon melting a granitic soil. It is composed of glass, neoformed cristobalite and remains of quartz.
